WORE IT, DRAW IT 04: GIRL'S NIGHT
I remember signing up for my graphic design diploma. Although I see myself as a creative person, I am in quite a structured way: I think of things in grids and columns, and I always saw myself working on layouts, rather than illustration. So when I realised that yes, I would have to complete drawing classes throughout my course, I freaked out. I remember my first class, having to draw a teapot. I was so nervous, I drew what was probably the crummiest teapot you have ever seen. Now I'm finished my course, I still don't think I'm great at drawing, by any stretch of the imagination. But one thing that is really strange, is that now, I find it really calming. When I draw, it's a bit like a meditation - maybe because I have to focus so much. This week I was feeling pretty nervous about something, so here's a new Wore It, Draw It post for you.
